Random Acts of Kindness
On February 11, 2016 Valley Storage facilities in Hagerstown, Maryland participated in the 211 Random Acts of Kindness Day organized by The Mental Health Association of Frederick County and the United Way. The day of February 11 is chosen because 2-1-1 Maryland is a free hotline available to help and support callers 24/7. The day is meant to inspire and bring cheer to others. The acts of kindness were posted in the facebook event page here or using the #211actsofkindness hashtag.
To participate each Valley Storage manager picked a random act of kindness to do within the Hagerstown community. The day was very positive and uplifting. It was so wonderful to see Valley managers able to light up people light up over a simple act of kindness. We are already looking forward to participating next year. We hope we provided a little more cheer to Hagerstown this year!
